Description
Olea europaea ‘Non-Fruiting’ is an attractive evergreen olive tree selected for ornamental landscaping where you want the beautiful silvery-grey foliage and Mediterranean appearance without the mess of significant fruit production. It develops a strong, branching structure and is an excellent choice for modern, Mediterranean, coastal and low-maintenance gardens.
Its narrow, silver-green leaves provide year-round colour and contrast beautifully with green foliage and flowering plants.

☀️ Care in Perth
Position:
Plant in full sun. Ideally choose a location with good air circulation and plenty of space for the canopy.
Watering:
Water regularly while establishing, particularly through the first 1–2 summers. Once established, it is relatively drought tolerant. Deep watering is preferable to frequent shallow watering.
Soil:
Prefers well-drained soil. Avoid areas that remain waterlogged after rain. Improve heavy clay soil with suitable organic matter and drainage amendments where appropriate.
Fertiliser:
Apply a balanced slow-release fertiliser in spring. A second light application can be useful during active growth if required.
Pruning:
Prune to maintain the desired shape and remove dead, damaged or crossing branches. Young trees can be trained to develop a strong central structure.
Summer care:
