☀️ Care in Perth
Position: Full sun to part shade. Full sun is best for a dense, healthy clump.
Soil: Adaptable to a range of soils, provided drainage is reasonable.
Water: Water regularly during establishment. Once established, it can tolerate Perth’s dry summers with relatively little supplementary water.
Fertiliser: Apply a small amount of controlled-release native fertiliser in spring if required.
Pruning: If the foliage becomes tired or damaged, cut the plant back hard in late winter/early spring before new growth begins. Remove dead leaves as necessary.
Spacing: For mass planting, approximately 50–70 cm apart, depending on the desired density.
