Growing Gaura Pixie Pink in Perth
Plant in full sun with good drainage. Perth’s sandy soils can benefit from compost or quality soil improver before planting. Water regularly while establishing, then reduce watering once the plant is well established.
Avoid constantly wet or poorly drained soil, particularly during winter. A light prune after flowering helps maintain a compact, attractive shape and encourages further flowering.
Landscaping Importance
Gaura Pixie Pink adds movement and soft colour to the garden with its delicate flowers dancing above the foliage. It works beautifully along pathways, garden borders, cottage gardens and mixed perennial beds and is also excellent for attracting pollinators.
