🍑 Dwarf Peach Trixzie® ‘Pixzee’
Botanical name: Prunus persica ‘Pixzee’
Common name: Dwarf Pixzee Peach / Trixzie® Pixzee
A fantastic compact, self-fertile peach tree for small gardens, courtyards and large pots. It produces full-sized, sweet yellow-fleshed peaches despite its small tree size.

Growing in Perth
Pixzee performs best in a full-sun position with well-drained soil. It is particularly suited to warm-temperate and cool-temperate climates.
For Perth:
- Plant in full sun, ideally 6+ hours of direct sunlight.
- Use well-draining soil enriched with compost or quality soil improver.
- Mulch around the root zone, keeping mulch away from the trunk.
- Water deeply during hot, dry weather, particularly while fruit is developing.
- Feed with a slow-release fruit-tree fertiliser in late winter/early spring and again during the growing season.
- Prune after fruiting or according to the tree’s fruiting/pruning requirements to maintain its compact shape.
- Monitor for peach leaf curl, aphids and other common fruit-tree pests.
Harvest
Pixzee generally produces fruit around mid to late January, although the exact timing can vary with seasonal conditions.
