Description:
Carabao Mango is renowned as one of the world’s sweetest mango varieties, famous for its exceptionally sweet, juicy, fibreless flesh and rich tropical aroma. Originating from the Philippines, it produces elongated, golden-yellow fruit that is perfect for fresh eating, smoothies, desserts, and preserves. As a grafted tree, it begins fruiting much earlier than seed-grown mangoes and produces true-to-type fruit.

- Height: 3–5 m
- Width: 3–4 m
- Can be maintained at 2–3 m with regular pruning.
Growing conditions (Perth, WA):
- Sun: Full sun
- Soil: Well-drained, fertile soil
- Water: Water regularly while establishing and during flowering and fruit development. Reduce watering as fruit ripens.
- Fertiliser: Apply a balanced fruit tree fertiliser in spring and summer.
- Pruning: Prune after harvest to maintain shape and encourage healthy new growth.
