Yucca elephantipes / Spineless Yucca

description	Add a tropical, architectural feature to your garden by planting a Yucca. This particular variety produces a sturdy trunk and bears a rosette of dark green, sword shaped leaves with finely serrated margins. During summer it produces highly decorative flower spikes which bear pendulous, white, bell shaped flowers. Yucca elephantipes can be used as a decorative border, or as a feature plant in either pots and containers. Plant in an area of full sun to part shade, with well drained soil. Yucca elephantipes is drought tolerant as it has low water requirements once established making it low maintenance. Remove spent foliage and fertilise annually with a long term slow release fertiliser. Yucca elephantipes can grow to a height of 9 metres and a width of 3 metres.
